When Brand Extensions Go Bad...

Companies don't always get it right when launching entirely new product ranges. While some have worked – the beer brand Guinness has had success with its World Records and tyre maker Michelin is well known for its haute cuisine guides – other attempts to step into new territory have been less successful.
