Cadburys Joy
Cadburys latest push on advertising is giving shoppers the chance to win a chocolate sculpture of whatever brings them joy. The unwrap joy campaign will see 30 winners recieve a hand made chocolate sculpture and a surprise worth up to £5,000 pounds. For example, a winner who might love shoes may win chocolate shoes and a trip to Milan to get themselves a real pair. What would bring you joy?
BHS Move Into Food
British Home Store has opened its first of its two food store pilots this week. The 3,450sq ft store in Staines sells key basket items including fruit, veg, meat, frozen chips and sandwiches. The BHS owner Sir Phillip Green said the BHS Food venture would undercut supermarkets by 10%.

New £1
The Royal Mint calls its new £1 coin a "pioneering" design with the 12-edged shape and two metal design drive up the cost of producing a counterfeit. From the 1.5 billion pound coins currently in circulation there are 3% that are counterfeit.
Tesco Ad Error

Giant Vending Machine
Residents of a rural English village have just had their local village shop replaced by a giant vending machine. It allows residents to buy essentials such as milk, eggs and pet food for the first time since their grocery shop closed more than 13 years ago. More are expected to pop up over the next few months.

BirdsEye will be hoping they are onto a #winner with their new Mashtags potato shapes for the social network generation. They roll out into shops this month for £1.75 and contain the hashtag, asterix, @ sign and two emoticons. Can you see any other companies doing the same?
