Pay-Per-Min Cafe

Ziferblat is a concept that has already proved popular in Russia - and now the chain has opened its first cafe in London's Old Street and this alternative pay-per-minute cafe has proved popular. Everything is free, expect the time you spend there, customers pay 3p per minute or £1.80 an hour for unlimited food, coffee and access to wi-fi. You can even bring your own food & drink.

Super Squeezy Squash

Vimto soft drinks has become the second drinks manufacturer to offer super concentrated pocket sized squash. Vimtos squeeze 'concentrated water flavourer' comes in a 50ml bottle and will provide up to 25 servings. What else will be shrinking in the future?

Rolling In It

Luxury car giant Rolls-Royce is to create 100 new jobs after reporting the fourth consecutive year of record sales. Over 3,630 cars were delivered to customers in 2013, the highest in the firm's history with plenty of personalised requests for inclusions including jewellery boxes and fridges to a family crest.

Tech business Metial.com has won an extra £2.6 million of funding for its virtual fitting room which aims to take the risk out of shopping online for clothes. The British company's idea allows internet shoppers to create a 3D model of themselves which can be used to measure and try on garments. This tech has already been snapped by by Warehouse, Shop Direct & Clothing at Tesco.

Shops Dreaming of A Better Christmas

A dire day for UK high streets as retailers reveal poor Christmas trading figures with Morrison's, Tesco & Morrisons all experiencing a fall in expected profit and sales figures. Shoppers seem to be buying more online and making more trips to convenience stores rather than big out-of-town stores. With shoppers incomes being squeezed by rising prices & stagnant wages it is seeing a rise in sales for the likes of Aldi & Lidl.

Lucozade Advert Banned

An advertising campaign for the drink Lucozade Sport has been banned. The TV ad and poster received 63 complaints over claims it "hydrates and fuels you better than water". The drink's former makers, GlaxoSmithKline, said the health claims had been authorised by the EU. The ASA however said the claims were not accurately reflected in the adverts.

Get Well Soup

Heinz is bringing back its 'Get Well Soon Soup' campaign in support of the Starlight Children's Foundation. Consumers can send a personailsed £3.99 get well soup to a friend through the Facebook campaign with £1 going to the charity. They are also putting the charity's logo on limited edition cans.
