As Britain is basking in a heat wave the better weather has brought a long overdue boost to the majority of retailers tills. Primark has seen a boost to the sales of its clothing and footwear as shoppers catch up on delayed purchases. That's Entertainment
Tesco has overtaken HMV to become the UK's second largest entertainment retailer with shares of the market rising to 13.2%. Across the market, digital music sales have grown by 12.5% and have helped boost iTunes to number three whilst HMV continues to slip down the chart with further closures of stores.

Film Star Banker Takes Role
Not a rock star on tour not the actor of the moment, but the incoming Bank of England governor Mark Carney. He has today taken over from Sir Mervyn King on a salary of £480,000 a year to try and get the economy going again. What do you think his chances are?
