The budget supermarket chain has responded to Zayn’s departure by knocking 20 per cent off the price of its One Direction Easter egg in the wake of Zayn’s departure. As a result, the Easter treat will now set you back just 79p – a move the chain broke news of the discount via its Twitter page.The move appears to have been given the thumbs up by social media users, with one commenting: ‘Lidl have taken a fifth off the price of their One Direction Easter eggs and I am never going to shop anywhere else.’
